Waffle House in Stephens City

The food was good, but some of the staff seemed like they didn't care. Could have just been a off day, but I usually get better service here.

Food was good service was great. Place needs a good cleaning though.

Great service and quick for food! Had a blueberry waffle, good but had some dough chunks in it, not so good. Eggs scrambled with cheese, hash browns with cheese, cinnamon raisin toast and a large oj...all came to just over $12, not too bad for the amount of food! Very clean restaurant and bathrooms weren't too bad either!

Waffle House To-Go??? Not so much! Tried calling for half an hour while my husband ran an errand before heading there to pick up an order. Every call... one ring then voicemail that said they were busy and to call back shortly or come by. Then it hung up on me. 😖 Their website said wait time was 0 minutes. Lost that order and probably any that may have come in the future. We’ll go to a restaurant that actually wants to sell meals for To-Go customers. Tried calling again after an hour just to see... still voicemail.

LOVE this place.! Food was hot & cooked to order. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. A bright and clean restaurant made the visit worth it .

Worst service ever!food was good as usual, the cook took my order and brought me my food , the server was not in the mood, laughing about how much money they were not making, (here's a tip)find a personality.

Something ordered has been cold both times I've been here. First time was gravy, last time was coffee. Food is ok but just barely.

Had a weird vibe, but it was ok for the most part. Food was fine, waffles were underwhelming, but hey. Don't ever need to go to one again. The servers were great people.

Awesome My First Time In A Waffle House

There was four of us. The service was friendly and courteous. The food was cooked perfectly. We had the two egg breakfast. This is a good place for breakfast.

Quick, clean, good help and tasty food. We are pretty regular customers of WH. This time we were almost at our destination hotel so we stopped for a late dinner. I wasn't terribly hungry so I only ordered a double hashbrown covered with sausage gravy. It was very well prepared and quite tasty. The Mrs had the steak and bacon breakfast bowl. It includes double hash browns, grilled riveted steak, bacon, scrambled eggs and cheese mixed up in the bowl. She said it was very good and she'd have it again. All in all a pretty good stop.

We were disappointed. All new crew except cook. Coffee was awful...not like usual, but they said it was the same as always. Joe ordered untoasted raisin bread and got toasted. My toast was soggy. I had to ask for jam twice. We are used to being welcomed and recognized as regulars--no welcome, service slow, had to ask for bill and it was $5 more than we usually pay for same order! We will try one more time...everyone has a bad day. But next time may be our last st Stephen's City Waffle House.

Food wasn't right and it wasn't good. Was very sad.

Great place to eat at when you're travelling. Their food is cheap but still good. The service was very good and friendly

I ordered steak and eggs. 9$ for a1/8" thick steak, overcooked, and 2 eggs. Won't be back.

Chili was good. Pies were old. My ROOT BEER had ANTS ON OUTSIDE and INSIDE OF GLASS. did take off bill. If, was in my glass ..how many others?? Or in COFFEE CUPS.

Food was ok. The waitress was very nice. But the manager was very rude to her crew. Threatening to fire our waitress jokingly is not fun. Especially when you say it several times while we were eating. I couldn't even finish my food. I paid and left. This happened 5am Saturday morning jul 13th. Horrible!

Bring your own drinks if you don’t enjoy ants in your cups!! Brought to the attention of the staff and nothing was said or done. We still paid full price for our ant filled drinks!

Been 3 times. Don't think I will go back. First time our waitress gave us Luke warm coffee asked for creamers she looked at us and continue to next table. Had to get another waitress to get us hot coffee and creamers. Then our meal came and asked for jelly. Once again had to ask another waitress for jelly. Didn't get our sausage. Told our waitress but had to get the other waitress to bring our sausage. Only seen our waitress one more time to bring us our ticket. I gave the other waitress a good tip not our waitress. Things didn't go to well the other times.

Most excellent breakfast and someone else cooked it....had grits bowl and waffle special. Yum...

It's Waffle House. What's not to like? Haven't been to one yet where my meal was bad. Never had anything but breakfast at one, but they are always good and reasonably priced.

My best friend and I have been coming here for years. We absolutely love the staff, so nice and friendly.

This was the messiest I have ever seen. None of the tables where clean. Food all over the floor and forks and trash behind the counter where guests can see. We where served 2 burnt waffles, asked for new ones and the guy said "yeah I forgot the timer and I smelled them" I said then why did you serve me them. 10 mins in another 4 customers complained of burnt waffles. They finally started using the time but they ignored it when it would go off. This wasn't even a busy time. Only 2 tables and two at counter. Recommend staff undergo more training before health department shows up.

It's a waffle house. Good food, but not original or great, just uniformly good. It is standard stomach cement that kept me going until dinner time. The bathroom was clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming. It was an easy to enter and leave the parking lot.

I had just drove 6 hours it was 2am and needed to stop. They greeted me with big hello. Had a breakfast and they chatted with me. It was a nice place to visit. It was funny I was looking for another place and found this open. Glad I stopped.

Food was fine and reasonably priced. Service was fine. Not bad for a late night bite.

Perfect blend of cheap eats, quality food and friendly service. It is always a good experience, and the onky place i know that has grits. Always visit when down south.

The cook was really nice as well as the waitress. The cook asked for the specifics of how I liked my meal and did a excellent job with the steak. The waitress did a awesome thing I'd like to note to, she said "I am well." instead of "I am good". Excellent above par manners. Everything was also cooked without over use of grease. I was highly impressed. We need more people like these two individuals in society.

Always good. A bit pricey but who isn't any more. It's well worth it. Yummy steak and cheese omelet. Crispy hashbrowns and of course great waffles.

Great food. Loved the bowl of mixed fast break foods and they served my waffles with 🍫 🍟 just the way i enjoy them...ice cold! Much love to the server girl who was friendly and treated me with warm southern hospitality. ❤ u!
